Tyler Dorothy has achieved a Bachelor's of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor's of Arts with double concentration in Music History and Composition from Rhode Island College. Tyler has taught private lessons since 2018 and has been a mentor, leader, and music tutor for the RIC music department for as long. Tyler has experience teaching all voice types and is familiar with repertoire from classical and musical theater, to pop and everything in between. Tyler has teaching experience with children ages 6 and up as well as college age students, and enjoys a wide array of musical styles making him particularly adept at molding lessons for each student individually to better focus on their musical preferences, as well as assessing their strengths and weaknesses to assist them in overcoming musical hurdles. Tyler has also had experience teaching beginning piano lessons with ages 6 and up.
