Olivia Kleyla

North Providence, RI

Olivia Kleyla is a multi-instrumentalist and teacher specializing in Piano, French Horn, and Voice. Mrs. Kleyla teaches band, piano, and guitar at East Providence High School in East Providence. She received her degree in Music Education from DePaul University in Chicago, where she studied French Horn with Jon Boen, principal horn of the Lyric Opera Orchestra of Chicago, and Oto Carillo, French Horn with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. As a horn player, she performs with the Narragansett Bay Symphony Orchestra, the Boston College Symphony Orchestra, Providence College Wind Ensemble, and local musical productions. Mrs. Kleyla is an active pianist and accompanist serving East Providence High School choirs, Cole Middle School and East Greenwich choirs, Collegium Ancora, and Ensemble Altera. She also accompanies local soloists and holds a private studio of piano students. In addition to her instrumental performing, Mrs. Kleyla sings with Ensemble Altera and Collegium Ancora of Grace Church in Providence, the leading chamber choirs in New England, as well as, Ecclesia Consort, St. Mary's Church Newport, and various other churches throughout the state. Alongside her husband, Brad, she plays Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Brass, and sings with their rock and roll band, The Kleyla Family Band.
