David Rausch

Bio

David Rausch is a multi instrumentalist, actively performing professionally with a variety of ensembles and as a solo performer all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Dave is primarily a saxophonist, having studied both jazz and classical saxophone with Michael Monte, Jennifer Bill, and Greg Abate. He also regularly performs professionally on flute, piano, guitar, and bass.

Most notably Dave currently plays with the band “Timeless” which performs classic rock covers at restaurants, bars, private parties, event rooms, and weddings all over Massachusetts and Rhode Island, but he also has professional experience in the world of jazz, playing with the Cameron Shave Jazz Orchestra, the Dave Rausch Jazz Quartet, and as a solo jazz pianist. He is also involved in musical theatre, performing regularly in pit orchestras for collegiate and local theatre productions, as well as music directing and sound engineering a local production of “Something Rotten!” with the JDP theatre company.
