Assel Sat is a recent graduate of Rhode Island College, with Bachelor's degree in Music Performance. She started her musical journey at the age of 6 and studied for 12 years at Music Specialized School for Gifted Children in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Assel made her first debut on a big stage as a soloist with Almaty Symphony Orchestra at the age of 15 and was a winner of many international and national competitions in Kazakhstan and the United States, including "First Prize" winner of Crescendo International Competition three times between 2021 and 2022, Second Prize Winner of Charleston International Competition 2022, and "Third Place" winner of UNCSA Young Artist Competition in 2019. Assel has also performed solo clarinet and piano at Carnegie Hall in NYC and at Rockport Music at the Shan-Liu Performance Center.
